Amity Law School, Noida is organizing a two day Youth Parliament named Srijan: A Genesis of Indian Politics. The objective of this two days Interdisciplinary event on various topics of Indian politics and World Peace is to draw out India’s response over various changes in the society and to trace the possible methods so as to bring about a considerable acceptance of modern needs of updating the societal laws, underlining the negative impacts of such updating of laws within Indian Society. Through this event we will try to address the intricacies of current time, to identify the indigenous traits of such laws, to landmark the intellectual developments of the societal laws and to make a better academic understanding of the same among politicians, students and the masses.

The event would cover current national & international issues for which the participants would be allocated with one of the committees:

The Constitution of India was adopted on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950, proclaiming India to be a sovereign, democratic republic. This contained the founding principles of the law of the land which would govern India in its new form, which now included all the princely states which had not acceded to Pakistan.

According to Article 79 (Part V-The Union.) of the Constitution of India, the Parliament of India consists of the President of India and the two Houses of Parliament known as the Council of States (Rajya Sabha) and the House of the People (Lok Sabha). The Lok Sabha (House of the People) was duly constituted for the first time on 17 April 1952 after the first General Elections held from 25 October 1951 to 21 February 1952.

The National Security Council (NSC) of India is an executive government agency tasked with advising the Prime Minister's Office on matters of national security and strategic interest. It was established by the former prime minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 19 November 1998, with Brajesh Mishra as the first National Security Advisor. Prior to the formation of the NSC, these activities were overseen by the Principal Secretary to the preceding Prime Minister.

Besides the National Security Advisor (NSA), the Deputy National Security Advisors (DNSA), the Ministers of Defence, External Affairs, Home, Finance of the Government of India, and the Vice Chairman of the NITI Aayog are members of the National Security Council. Other members may be invited to attend its monthly meetings, as and when required.

The All India Students Body Meet is a committee dedicated to invite student representation from various Central and State Universities in order to bring their approach and outlook towards various issues prevailing in the society. Since the students are the future generation politicians and representatives of the people, it is very important for them to have an approach towards these issues in a much better way than what our ex or present politicians have. This unique committee focuses on bringing voices from the student leaders from across the country, who have been raising the voices of the student in the form of unions and to vest upon them the voices of the more populous in an organized form of representation.

The International Peace Summit is an adaptation of the United Nations initiative to work upon the peace and prosperity of each member country and also the world in general. The world at the present moment faces acute threat from each power block with their arms proliferation in order to stand against the other powerful nations and this is a never ending cycle. This committee would discuss upon the various heated issues which can cause threat to the world peace and also look upon the interests of the weaker countries by bringing in sanctions.
